Thirty Days of Rain is a story about leaving San Francisco, told through 30 animated haikus.
Created in a January when it rained for nearly 30 days, the haikus all follow the traditional 5 – 7 – 5 syllablic structure, and their order shows a progression of thinking about change and loss.
It is personal.
Many of the assets are taken from the first Dot Com boom and subsequent bust.
The project includes landmarks around North Beach, SOMA, and Nob Hill, like House of Nanking, Grace Cathedral, and the Baker Hamilton building (formerly Organic's headquarters, now Adobe's).
