BookGlutton

BookGlutton was one of the first social reading platforms. It allowed people to create virtual book groups, chat inside any chapter of the book, and share annotations (users attach a note to any paragraph and friends come through, see them, and respond).

We launched the web-based reading system and social features in January 2008, and a paid catalog in September 2009. We also built a publishing platform, embeddable widget, mobile site and EPUB converter. My role was head of product/co-founder.
